Singapore, 14 January 2026 — Actxa, a Singapore-based preventive health technology company, today announced the launch of AI Glucose Scan, a new general wellness feature available on the Actxa Core Smart Ring. Designed for everyday use, the feature provides a simple, non-invasive 1-minute scan with easy-to-understand results for tracking daily wellness.

The feature will be available through an Actxa App update on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store from 15 January 2026.

As glucose-related health concerns continue to rise globally, everyday awareness has become increasingly important. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) estimates that 589 million adults worldwide are currently living with diabetes, a number projected to reach 853 million by 2050, with 252 million adults remaining undiagnosed. This reinforces the growing importance of awareness, healthy daily habits and early lifestyle action for long-term well-being.

What is AI Glucose Scan?

AI Glucose Scan is a non-invasive feature on the Core Smart Ring that provides simple, everyday glucose elevation awareness through a quick one-minute scan—without needles.

It is powered by BGEM® —the world’s first non-invasive, clinically backed AI-driven technology that analyses photoplethysmography (PPG) data from the Core Smart Ring to deliver meaningful, pain-free glucose insights.

The feature provides a simple wellness result: Normal or Elevated, to enhance everyday awareness. Designed for lifestyle awareness, it encourages users to take proactive wellness steps, such as making healthier food choices, exercising regularly, getting sufficient sleep and managing stress.
