FilmRise, Citi, and The Grove host the exclusive VIP screening and nationwide premiere of Overbrook Entertainment and Mental Telepathy Pictures, “SPRINTER,” Executive Produced by Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, and Richard Jefferson. “SPRINTER” tells the story of a Jamaican teen whose rising star in track & field may help reunite him with his mother who is currently living in the US. Winner of the Best Feature Film, Best Director, and Audience Award at 2018’s American Black Film Festival, and Jury Winner for Best Narrative Feature at the 2019 Pan African Film Festival, SPRINTER will be released to movie theaters nationwide April 24, 2019 via GathrÒ Films’ Theatrical-On-Demand.
