MANASA YERRIBOYINA OF MINNESOTA NAMED WINNER OF NFL PLAY 60 SUPER BOWL CONTEST PRESENTED BY DANIMALS®
Rochester, Minnesota native MANASA YERRIBOYINA, 12, is this year's NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid, the NFL announced today. As the winner of the 2017 NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest presented by Danimals, Manasa will act as the official NFL PLAY 60 Ambassador during Super Bowl Week and deliver the game ball to the official on the field moments before the kickoff of Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday, Feb. 4 on NBC. ABC's Good Morning America hosts broke the news to Manasa in-studio this morning with the help of Minnesota Vikings TE KYLE RUDOLPH. Hundreds of young fans nationwide entered this year's NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest Presented by Danimals online at NFLRUSH.com/SuperKid. To be eligible, Manasa submitted videos showcasing her favorite celebration dance and her commitment to being active for 60 minutes a day. Following rounds of interviews and public voting, Manasa was named the winner of this year's contest for her dedication to a healthy lifestyle and her passion for helping others to stay active and eat healthy. Manasa is a 7th grade student, athlete and valued leader in her community. As a Fuel Up to Play 60 student, she helps lead health and wellness events at her school throughout the year, most recently organizing her school's color run. She empowers her peers to stay active, learn healthy habits from each other and create positive change within their community. A multi-sport athlete, she plays tennis, football, badminton and basketball and challenges herself as a middle school student on the high school debate team. During the week leading up to Super Bowl LII, Manasa will visit Super Bowl Experience Driven by Genesis, the epicenter for NFL fans in Minnesota during Super Bowl Week; interview members of the Super Bowl teams at Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade; and visit Super Bowl Live Presented by Verizon, amongst other events.
