Las Vegas, USA — 11 April 2018 —The winners of IABM’s new Broadcast and Media awards (BaMs™) were announced at IABM’s BaM™ Awards party on 10th April at NAB Show 2018. The winners, across ten new categories described by the BaM™ Content Chain: Creator to Consumer (itself unveiled by IABM at the show) were selected from an initial 100+ high quality submissions. The judging was carried out by a panel of more than 40 non-affiliated, expert judges, each with specialist expertise in one or more of the awards categories. John Ive, IABM Director of Strategic Insight, who chaired the judging panel, said: “Changing and updating the awards categories this year has received a tremendous response, not only in quantity but also in the quality and breadth of entries. Traditional products and services still feature strongly but are joined by many applications representing new technologies and business models. The BaM™ Awards represent a real window on the future of the broadcast and media industry.” The winners are listed below by category, with the judges’ comments appended.
