(Los Angeles, California) - On Friday November 3rd, 2017, Katrina ‘Kat Tat’ Jackson debuted her 2nd Annual Model Type Art Exhibit at the Cinematic Picture Gallery in Hollywood. The tattoo expert, painter, entrepreneur, social media influencer, and star of VH1’s Black Ink Crew Chicago , showcased her fabulous artwork alongside hosts for the night: entertainment industry marketing expert Marc Brogdon and attorney to the stars Darrell Miller. -more- With the goal to embody strength, feminism, confidence, and fierceness, Kat Tat merged the beauty in the artform of painting itself with the art of diversity, given her highly eclectic upbringing and heritage. Alongside some very special jazz music provided by the Arean Alston and Friends Jazz Band , The Model Type Art Show Exhibit featured some of Kat's brand new piece as well as her all time favorites to show the beauty within all walks of life! The amazing night, filled with stunning art and vibrant hues of red and black, was capped of with a surprise from designer Carmelita Cimone who presented Kat with an intricately rhinestoned jacket that payed homage to one of Kat’s paintings titled “Lusting With Pink Hair.” This iconic piece will be up for auction later this month on both Kat Tat’s and Carmen Cimone’s sites in order to raise funds for EnCourage Kids Foundation and Domestic Violence Prevention Programs!
