REBECCA JARVIS TO INTERVIEW HEARST PRESIDENT AND CEO AT 2017 NAB SHOW OPENING


WASHINGTON, D.C.-- ABC News Chief Business, Technology and Economics Correspondent Rebecca Jarvis will interview NAB Show Opening event headliner Hearst President and CEO Steven Swartz (previously announced) at the 2017 NAB Show. Held Monday, April 24 in Las Vegas, the NAB Show Opening event will be emceed by “CBS Sunday Morning” host Jane Pauley and is sponsored by Blackmagic Design.

Jarvis reports for ABC News programs, including “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight With David Muir,” “Nightline,” “20/20,” and “This Week With George Stephanopoulos.” She is also the host and managing editor of the weekly show “Real Biz With Rebecca Jarvis,” which features the biggest names in Hollywood, business, technology, fashion, comedy, food, sports and startups. Additionally, Jarvis is the host and managing editor of the podcast “No Limits With Rebecca Jarvis.”

“Rebecca’s insight and interview skills are sure to super-charge the opening event’s already impressive lineup of talent and industry influencers,” said NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith, who will deliver the “State of the Broadcast Industry” address.

Before joining ABC News, Jarvis served as co-host of “CBS This Morning: Saturday” and was a business and economics correspondent for CBS News. She spent three years at CNBC reporting on market news and regularly contributed to NBC News, including the “Today Show” and “Nightly News.”
