NEW YORK, NY – March 7, 2019 – The Paley Center for Media today announced the launch of PaleyTV, a new video-on-demand (VOD) service that will be comprised of the Paley Center’s acclaimed programming including live streams of upcoming events from PaleyFest LA 2019, which will feature the highly anticipated Parks and Recreation 10th Anniversary Reunion, and conversations with today’s hottest television stars including: Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Rachael Brosnahan, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, RuPaul, Angela Bassett, Gina Rodriguez, Rachel Bloom, Norman Reedus, Alex O’Loughlin, Lucas Till, Jay Hernandez, Sonequa Martin-Green, Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, and many more. “We’re thrilled to launch PaleyTV, just in time for the start of this year’s PaleyFest LA, the premier television festival,” said Maureen J. Reidy, the Paley Center’s President & CEO. “With this new service, television fans from all fifty states and around the world, will have the opportunity to experience the same excitement as those in attendance at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.” The first Paley Center programs available for streaming will be live events from PaleyFest LA 2019 including Amazon Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; Netflix’s Grace and Frankie; VH1’s RuPaul’s Drag Race; FOX’s 9-1-1; The CW’s Jane The Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: The Final Seasons; AMC’s The Walking Dead; CBS’s Hawaii Five-0, MacGyver, and Magnum P.I.; CBS All-Access’s Star Trek: Discovery and The Twilight Zone; NBC’s This Is Us; and the highly anticipated NBC’s Parks and Recreation 10th Anniversary Reunion. PaleyTV will be the only place you can view this incredible line up of programming. PaleyFest is the premier television festival in the country produced by The Paley Center for Media that connects television fans with the talent behind their favorite TV shows. Held at the world-renowned Dolby Theatre, PaleyFest is where television’s hottest stars delight fans with exclusive behind-the-scenes scoops, hilarious anecdotes, and breaking news stories. Television fans will have the option to purchase the live stream package of all available programs for $7.99, and select individual events can be purchased on-demand for $1.99 each shortly after the live events take place. Select events from past PaleyFest festivals are now available to rent. Revenue raised from PaleyTV supports the Paley Center’s many educational initiatives, including enriching classes for K-12 students that enhance media literacy and classroom learning, exhibits, year-round PaleyLive programming, and the preservation of the Paley Center’s renowned archive of television.
