New York, NY (May 10, 2018) -- "Queen Sugar" has been announced as participant at Vulture Festival, a weekend of high-profile events bringing the entertainment site to life, celebrating the best of today's television, comedy, film, podcasts, and more. The pop-culture extravaganza, taking place in New York City, includes panels, screenings, performances, and live podcast recordings. The "Queen Sugar" conversation will take place Sunday, May 20 at 6:45 p.m.
Creator and executive producer Ava DuVernay will join cast members Rutina Wesley, Dawn-Lyen Gardner and Kofi Siriboe for an moderated conversation sharing what to expect for the upcoming season of "Queen Sugar."

"Queen Sugar" returns for its third season with a two-night premiere event on OWN Tuesday, May 29, and Wednesday, May 30 (10 p.m. ET/PT each night). The series will regularly air Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

ABOUT QUEEN SUGAR
The contemporary drama returns as the Bordelon siblings struggle to move forward with their lives as they strive to honor the legacy of their father following his unexpected passing. Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner, "Unforgettable") relocates to Saint Josephine, Louisiana to help run the family business.
